Mortgage Lending Specialist

(Positions available in Wilson, Rutherford, Sumner and Davidson County areas)

Originates quality conventional and government residential loans based on secondary market guidelines.  Develops mortgage loan business with new prospects.  Calls on realtors and builders to solicit mortgage loans. Networks with agents, attorneys, CPAs and appraisers to generate a referral base.  Interviews loan applicants and executes loan application in full. Follows through during the loan process to ensure timely closings.  Requirements:  Minimum of  two years’ origination experience, ability to develop business in the targeted market areas (leads are not provided), and the ability to demonstrate last 12-month origination volume.  Must possess extensive knowledge of all laws and regulations related to mortgage lending, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.  FHA, VA, THDA, RD, and conventional mortgage lender.  Full-time position.

Mortgage Loan Underwriter

Conducts in-depth review of all documentation to ensure full compliance with Bank and/or investor guidelines. Underwrites loans and evaluates risk to ensure a sound and prudent decision. Analyzes appraisal to determine the subject represents acceptable collateral. Assists all production personnel with questions on policies and procedures. Ensures that loan files are reconciled with applicable automated underwriting findings. Reviews questionable credit files with Management. Requirements: Minimum three years experience underwriting FHA, VA, and Conventional mortgages.  Must have excellent knowledge of mortgage policy and program guidelines.  Must be able to work extended hours as required by work volume.

Full-Time Floater Teller - West Region (Donelson, Hermitage, Hwy. 70, Leeville, Gladeville & Mt. Juliet offices) 

Previous teller experience preferred.  Heavy cash handling experience considered. Will work at various offices as staffing needs require.
